On behalf of our family we would like to say thank you to the Animal Emergency & Referral Center of West Houston. We are very happy that by circumstance we walked into your clinic at 4:30am on a holiday weekend. Had it been a normal hour we would have gone to Oreo's regular vet and I know we would not have been as comfortable or as satisfied as we were with your facility.

We have had Oreo in our family for 13 years, and although we have known that her time with us was limited because of her age we were nowhere near prepared to say goodbye. it was heartbreaking for us to see her take her last breath.

We send a big Thank You to your faculty and staff. Everyone we encountered was wonderful. The front desk, ther nurses, and especially the doctors. Thank you Dr. Ying, Dr. Brown, and Dr. Kuzara for being so patient, informative, and for showing compassion to us throughout our weekend with you. Thank you for the 24-hour care that my little Oreo recieved. I know this was her time to go and we feel comfortable knowing that we did all that we could. Hopefully we will never need to re-visit your facility again for the same reasons but if we do happen to need your services we will not hesitate to come back,

Thanks to all of you for the Medical Attention & Care you gave Squeaky Cat. Squeeky Cat now is playing with  his little mice. Doing his muscle workout on his scratching post.

Squeaky Cat is drinking lots of water. Eating with a great appetite. Keeping busy at the litter pan, and taking naps. Squeaky Cat alerts us of noises outside iwth his radar ears.

Several years ago (2006) I brought my Himi male cat in by the name of Big Bird, he was suffering flea anemia and on the verge of death. The staff did everything that they could and was very compassionate to everything as I was very pregnant at the time. When the staff placed the catheter in Big Bird passed, with some time and effort they were able to get Birdie breathing again but he was in a coma. They told me to check in and they would let me know. I left and when I called them a few hours later Birdie was up and yes alive. I picked him up a few hours later. I am pleased to say that the staff there saved Big Birdie that cold October night in 2006. Birdie was with me here in Texas until I decided that the very best thing for him was to go back and reside in California with my ex husband who paid all of Birdie's medical expenses with you. Birdie was special from the moment he became a part of a person's life.

Birdie passed away October 2010. Leaving many of us sad!

I however remember how amazing the staff was and caring that I was dealing with this as a very pregnant female. He went to live with my ex husband and when he boarded that flight to Huntington Beach, CA he had on his red bandanna that he came home with that says you saved his life. I have thought of all of you who went above and beyond with Big Bird. And couldn't thank you enough for all you did. I would send a picture of Birdie for you all to see how amazing he really was when not on his death bed. I thank you for the extra time you gave all of us with him.

To my friends at Animal Emergency Center,

I am doing well and have even started sitting on my window seat - just like old times! I have a daily routine which includes meeting my mom at the door when she gets home from work. We are both happy that my vision is (slowly) returning!

The visit was great. Clean and very knowledgable employees. The Dr. that took care of us was amazing kind and answered all our questions. I am so please with our visit. Although we had to put our cat to rest, they made every effort to make our visit as pain free and comforting as they could.

I want to thank Dr. Clegg and the EC Staff for saving Chandlers life. I don't think he would have made it through the weekend without your help. Jonathan thanks for being so understanding about my wanting to help too much with the IV.

Dr. Clegg your kind, loving demeanor gave me such reassurance and I have looked into the Pancreatitis as you recommended and he is doing much better with some changes to his diet. I do think you were a gift from God that
