Emergency Support Staff

 

 

Michelle has been in the veterinary field since 1998, and has been in emergency medicine since 2005.

Michelle is currently attending University of Houston - Victoria, working towards a degree in Biology. Her special interests include evolutionary, conservation, and marine biology. Michelle received her Exam Techniques certification through Cedar Valley College and Dental Certification through the American Society of Veterinary Dental Technicians.

She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, reading, horror and fantasy movies, and basically anything else that stimulates her interest.

Her furry family includes 4 cats, a dog, a turtle, and a rabbit.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jay has been with us since August 2007, and has been in the Veterinary field since 1998. He has a special interest in radiology and critical medicine. Jay is our OSHA and Facilities Manager.

Jay's hobbies include getting out on the boat, weekly trips to Dallas, and cooking for large numbers of people. Jay shares his home with a Blue Heeler named ?Roscoe? and a Persian mix named "Jojo".

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tony has been part of our nursing staff since September of 2007. Tony graduated from Tomball College and received his RVT license in 1994.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mitzi graduated from Tomball in 2005 obtaining her RVT license, and has been part time at AERCWH since December of 2008.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Suzanne has been working in the veterinary field since 1999, and has been in emergency medicine since 2002.

Her family consists of her husband (Raymond), 2 kids (Michael & Jessica), and her 4 "crazy" cats ( Kellie, Bandit, Dante, & Mystica)

Tiffany has been working in the veterinary field since 1997 and joined the Animal Emergency & Referral Center of West Houston  in May, 2008. Tiffany received her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science. Tiffany also has an Associate Degree in Agricultrial Science from Blinn College.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Erin has loved all kinds of animals since she was little but didn't decide to make a career out of it until 2006. After earning a B.S. in Microbiology, she worked in the medical science field for a short while. A decision to change careers brought her to the Humane Society in Berkeley, CA, where she was a kennel attendant and veterinary assistant. She then spent three years in Pasadena, CA., working as a vet tech in a busy general practice animal hospital and attending Mt. San Antonio College earning a degree in Registered Veterinary Technology. Erin joined Animal Emergency & Referral Center of West Houston in March, 2010. Outside the veterinary world, she enjoys volunteering at the SPCA, reading, sewing, gardening, and cooking.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Priscilla joined AERCWH in November 2010. Priscilla graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology in December 2009 and became a registered technician in Texas shortly after. She has a special interest in emergency and critical care and is striving to become specialized in the field.

At home, Priscilla enjoys spending time with her husband, Adam, her son, Brandon and her other four-legged kids (Ripley, Snoopy Bear, Bettie and her Netherland Dwarf, Chowder). Her interests are gardening, entertaining, cooking/baking and anything outdoors.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Aimee is originally from Seattle, Washginton and has been in the veterinary field since 2006 and started working in Emergency medicine in 2007. Aimee has a special intrest in pharmacology and pain managment and in 2010 graduated from Everest College in Seattle, Washginton as a certified pharmacy technician.

In her spare time Aimee enjoys running marathons and horseback riding.

Liz has been working in the veterinary field since 2005,and worked in emergency medicine in 2007. Liz’s hobbies include mix martial arts, horseback riding, all types of sports, outdoors activities such as fishing, hiking, snowboarding, and amongst many others. When at home Liz shares her time with her Husband, Family, and their 5-legged kids 3 dogs Spots (Dalmatian), Royce (labagoldendoodle), and Mia (tea cup poodle) and 2 cats Asha (tortoiseshell) and Luke (turkish van).
